(Press Release) The Inaugural World Leadership Conference 2009: Environment & Economics - Towards a Low Carbon Economy
The World Leadership Conference is a landmark conference organized by ECO Singapore and is targeted at providing a platform to nurture informed leaders and decision makers for youths, aged 16-25, and to acquaint them with the skills and knowledge to execute projects governing economics and the environment.

The flash mob of Re-live! @ Bugis Junction was a great success celebrating World Environment Day 2009.
The event attracted hundreds of members of the public in the middle of Bugis Square to ponder and find out what is happening where about 70 volunteers performed their flash mob. The emcee also explained to the public on what this is about and invited members of the public to visit the various booth to allow our volunteers to engage and share the concept of sustainable living and why it is important we all play a part.

On World Environment Day 2009, which falls on 5 June 2009, Environmental Challenge Organisation (Singapore) or ECO Singapore, will launch the environmental event - RE-Live! 2009.
ECO Singapore is the leading youth social enterprise advocating sustainable lifestyles for youths in Singapore and the region.
In 2008, ECO Singapore organised the inaugural RE-Live! event in Singapore at The Atrium, Plaza Singapura, engaging around 20,000 members of the public over the span of 11 days with the effort of more than 200 student volunteers.

Our International Affairs delegation was the official Singapore NGO representative at the UN 17th Commission on Sustainable Development held at the United Nations Headquarters in Manhattan, New York.
